This oven not only heats quickly and holds for long periods of time but is also easily controlled. The Pioneer Maid has capacity to hold up to 8 loaves of bread. The exterior is clad in baked-on porcelain which not only gives it a better look but allows for easier cleaning. When the oven door is open it works like a space heater and can heat up to 2,000 square feet.

 

 

The high back and sturdy shelving allow for convenient storage for all of those items you want handy when cooking or baking. The Pioneer Maid has an optional warming closet which is available to keep food warm until mealtime and it is 10" x 10". This stove also offers an undreamed amount of control by simply twisting the twin air-intake knobs the fire will leap to life and by simply twirling it in the other direction it will almost instantly dampen down. With the large firebox it allows the fire to be stoked and last long periods of time. The Pioneer Maid also offers an option hot water coil and reservoir model which can hold up to 10 gallons.
